AVI Foodsystems at Aultman Woodlawn is seeking an applicant for a Full-time Cook position with open & closing shifts required. Starting pay rate $16.00/hr or higher based on level of experience and education with weekend pay incentives included. Applicants should have an understanding of basic food safety and experience in a high volume kitchen. Positive attitude, teamwork, a desire to succeed, and the ability to get things done are a must.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide quality food products consistently by following directions and adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep production consistent to our standards and to set a positive example for the shift team
• Have a desire to learn and grow.
• Follow AVI operational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Maintain and foster positive and professional working relationships
• Other duties and responsibilities as necessary
• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
• Contributes to positive team environment
• Works with an exceptional Culinary Team
• Follows AVI operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, food handling, and safety.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of cooking experience
• Required to follow and give written and verbal instructions
• Ability to learn quickly and work well independently
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team
