Project Leader
Job Description and Responsibilities
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Project Leader for Amazon Business at AVI Foodsystems.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support for Vice President, National Operations for Amazon: Assist in executing department functions and strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Partner with various internal Process Owners to understand and evaluate business process.
- Identify the right contacts and secure commitment from the stakeholders to participate in process improvement projects.
- Engage with all stakeholders and impacted teams to understand and dissect the cross-functional workflow inputs / outputs to analyze current practices, identify opportunities for improvement and design the most efficient flow for the future.
- Document and build templates for new workflows and related checklists, work instructions, or other artifacts, using applicable software.
- Identify the corrective actions that are needed to correct for gaps in process, job roles, service level agreements, tools or budgets, ensuring those actions have an owner, and driving execution against them.
- Build and deliver the training material for all the roles involved in executing the new process once it's defined.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent Excel skills including (but not limited to): Cross spreadsheet calculations, external data callouts, etc.
- Proven ability to understand, improve and streamline business process for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Takes personal initiative and can serve as project leader for multiple small to medium sized initiatives.
- Track record of understanding high level strategic concepts and applying to business process problems.
- Negotiating skills between various departments.
- Ability to visually represent and explain business processes in both verbal and written form.
- History of working with organizations to propose, gain consensus on, implement and measure the effectiveness of process changes.
