AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Food Production Manager, Full-time at PennWest California University Goldrush in California, PA. This position includes nights and weekends. Culinary background required.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee large food production
- All ordering, inventory, counting and procurement needs
- Monitoring Jamix - pre and post production
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors
- Maintain and strive to improve efficiency standards
- Comply with SQF standards
- Demonstrate a full understanding of culinary practices and hold production team members accountable for using proper portion control methods and techniques
- Control food and labor cost
Requirements:
- 7 or more years of experience managing a food production and packaging facility
- ServSafe Certification and HACCP understanding is a plus
- Experience with R/D
- FDA and State Inspection experience
- Understanding of department production flows
- Intermediate mechanical understanding of food production & packaging equipment is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to focus on details
- A full understanding of weights and measures
- Understanding of S.O.P., S.S.O.P, and G.M.P.
- Ability to interact and work with all involved in the food safety inspection process
